While I can agree with this (I'm currently on my fourth Xbox 360), I will say that the Xbox 360 is an incredible machine as well. It's a different type of machine for a different kind of gamer. The Xbox 360 may be something this lady is interested in (there are quite a few great...
A buddy IM'd me from his phone with a computer issue.
He's running Windows XP. When he starts up his machine, it starts up a disk check. However, his keyboard is unresponsive when he tries to skip the check. So the system follows through with the check... nothing wrong. Except when it's...
If you're looking for a recommendation for a non-gamer, go for the Wii. It is very user-friendly to use, and the games are extremely easy to pick up and play, with virtually no learning curve.
Speaking of curve, my three year old brother can throw a pretty decent curveball in Wii Sports...
Ohh, their website sucketh... it doesn't really do anything except tell you info about games. Give 'em a call tomorrow and see if they have anything running -- AFAIK, most of their promo stuff is on a store-by-store basis.
Wait -- doesn't the DS come with Mario Kart DS? Or maybe that was a limited-time promotion. *shrug*
You may want to call around a couple GameCrazy's (you have at least a few in your area), as they usually have some kind of promotion attached to a new system purchase (including Nintendo DS).
It was meant mostly as a joke. In all seriousness, this /is/ the "off-topic" thread, so why is the thread against the ToS? Tek was the one that spawned this thread off the other one anyway... there's no need to nitpick at every comment I make. -_-
I'll go back to my hole now. >_>
No joke: the longest we waited was one hour, and that was for Maverick when we went the first time. We waited about 40 and 30 minutes for front-row seats on the Dragster and Millennium Force, respectively. =)
So here's why I wasn't around yesterday. Or this morning, since we didn't get back until around 1:40 AM. Gosh, that was an awesome time.
I'll make a longer blog post about it soon, but I figured you might be interested in those pics. =)
*shrug*
Or we could simply list the artists by default instead of albums [when you sort by letter, by title, etc.]. Then, for each artist listed, we could toss in the names of their albums into the results. *shrugs again*
Yup, I agree. The Music section of PureFun is definitely more album-oriented than artist-oriented, in terms of drilling down and finding artists you want. The only simple way to find an artist is to search for it. =/ Any ideas on how we can improve this, exactly?
