hey guys I dont forum much... actually just got the forum account even though I've been in toj for a month or so now. anyways myself and some others are trying to get a game of Warhammer 40k Rogue Trader started. its a Warhammer 40k pen and paper RPG and we had a blast last time we played. trying to get a new group now and wanted to see if anyone is interested. hit me up!

I don't have time to devote to a P&P RPG as mid-terms are coming, but I did come here and say I love your name.

I get that alot... it was fun the first couple times people asking me why I wasnt at my post... it got old kinda fast lol

I actually GM'ed a session of Dark Heresy once, rather liked it. 40k is extremely underrated in terms of Pen and Paper RPG. That said, I much, much prefer doing my P&P RPGing with a group in RL rather than over the internet, so unless you happen to be planning on doing it in Anchorage, I will unfortunately have to sit this one out.

*is really missing my college D&D group...*

its actually pretty easy. the rulebook and character sheet dont need to be shared so you just hold onto your copy. the game grid, we've done 2 ways. first was using Garry's mod with a map that has a grid texture on the floor. spawn an item, use physgun to move around, draw map with rope. the other way we found later was a java app called maptools. it shows a grid, the GM can draw on it, and players move their tokens around the grid. both are online so you can see the other player move their own stuff around. then we used Teamspeak for the verbal component. was pretty easy.

anyways the situation changed and we need a new gm lol.

might as well make it easy considering the GM left... might be easier to do a just toj game... anyone interested?
