yes but still at 128 bits. head for the 8800gs for nearly the same money and tons more performance.

Yeah, I would like to see what the differences are between the 9600 GT and the 8800GT, which I just put in my computer.
Furthermore, will they still make the 8800GT when the 9600 comes out? Because I was hoping to upgrade to SLI at some point and if I understand correctly, you have to use two of the same card to use SLI.

sli is a marketing tool for those who want to throw money away. for the cost of your two 86 or 9600's you can buy a single 8800gt(x) or radeon 3870 and exceed the performance of the two in sli.

Don't do SLI, it's not worth it, one 8800 GT will do just fine for now.
