A general Guild Wars question.

Hi everyone. I haven't posted in a while, but I have a question. What are the blue figures with numbers above peoples heads in the different cities? What do they mean?

Thanks. :)

They show that that player is in a party and the number signifies how many people are currently in the party.

Sometimes it also means (mostly in nightfall) the count of heros in your party two. Mostly when you see 4 poeple in a party in nightfall the're heros.

Okay, that makes sense. One more question... what is the point of it? LOL.. probably a dumb question. :p

A little more specifically, anyone with a dark blue name (mouseover) is in a party. Light blue name means they have no other party members. You don't see many light blue names in nightfall since heroes were added. The numbers only appear above the head of the party leader. In previous chapters (before heroes) it helped identify who to ask to join the party. Also, if you needed two more people and there is someone with a 2, you know who to ask to join you. Heroes and henchmen count. Heroes do make this a little pointless.

Nice to see you on the forums again! I need all the girls I can get so i don't feel totally out numbered. :)

what if katnu is a guy?

LOL... I assure you, I am 100% girly-girl. :D

I mostly lurk, but I'm hoping to post more once I can figure this game out. I feel so... dumb... regarding Guild Wars. I have all three versions, but I haven't completed one yet. I also have to fight my son for the computer whenever I start to play (he has 3 of my 9 slots) because he gets the bug to play when he sees me playing. I'd love to do PvP, but I never stand a chance when in the ring and can't figure out how to use the skils properly. I'm such a noobie.

Right now I'm addicted to Nightfall and I'm determined to get my Dervish off the starter island and do all of the quests (even though I blew it and can't do a couple of them now).

Ok 1. We all started once apon a time. We were all new.

I'd love to do PvP, but I never stand a chance when in the ring and can't figure out how to use the skils properly.

The PvP team will help with that. It just takes time to get to know the skills and how to make them happy (it also helps if you have Dredd to make the build for you and tell you when to do what and where :D)

I also have to fight my son for the computer whenever I start to play (he has 3 of my 9 slots) because he gets the bug to play when he sees me playing.
You know i think theres a common house hold cure for the nasty bug. just say NO!!! :p

haha, just wanted to make some people feel awkward.
don't worry, your text does seem rather feminine. or just non-masculine.

ahem.
I'm gonna stop now.

Too many grammatical errors in there to read the whole thing o.0 0.o o.0 0.o

I did like this part:
but i kept getting headshots and i was like "BOOOOOM HEADSHOT WHAT NOW MIDGET!"

Lol. "WELCOME TO A TOWN"

haha. I remember that! midgets. I always wondered why call them midgets. terribly offensive. they'd much rather be called Halfies or something.

i pwn midgets thankyou
exactly as i said before (i could be a laywer i made Atown guilty!!) well i guess as long as ur not a midget on cs then your ok. unlike the primitive WoW were anyone can kill anyone as they please GW is much more civilized.
