Oh. Customs and languages yeah! I highly doubt that any man speaking a language different your own will understand Jesus died for him. Or something like that.
Taylor did the garb, he did the customs, he did the language of China. He was ridiculed for it a lot by his peers for getting so into them and even prevented from courting his wife by her caretaker because she didn't approve of his "dress and queer actions."
So yeah.
Well...the thing about Catholicism is how much it strayed from actual Biblical and New Testament teachings, which is why I find it so hard to believe that so many are in its ranks: it's so preposterous to listen to them speak and beg. They're the richest body of religion in the world I'd assume. EVERY stinking church they build is like a temple. Humongous. There's this on in San Franciso I think that offers 100k burial places underneath it. Our Lady of Something (matter of fact, I would say she's Our Lady of the Sewerpipes, Our Lady of the Stratosphere, Our Lady of an Antarctic Iceberg, Our Lady of the Platypus, Our Lady of Waspstings, Our Lady of the Caterpillar Pupa, Our Lady of Omnipotence, basically). I forget its name.
The Catholic Church is not overly credible to me. The fact that many churches in today America (non-denomination, Baptist, Episcopalian, Catholic) are so rich is of no surprise: they start out as "non-profit" organizations, meaning they take what free money they get to get started and then pay another branch of themselves the remaining money and then start preaching good things to those who tithe to rake in the cash. Then comes the 20k rings, the 100000 sq.ft. manors, the 200-acre campgrounds, et cetera.
And of course, the Feeding the Starving Children of Abyssinia begins right after that, followed by Feeding the Poor of NYC.
