American justice

I work for an international news organization, and the buzz this morning has been all about Paris being released from prison early.

The news I've been hearing is that she has an unspecified medical condition and she was traumatized to the point that she had problems eating and sleeping. So essentially a deal was cut and she will be spending the remainder of her sentence from the "cold cramped quarters" of her home.

Poor little girl. I don't know how she will be able to survive life from her mansion. It's great to know that justice is fair in our country!

I just checked the BBC RSS news feed this morning and the story on Paris Hilton was the first item.

Journalism is officially dead.

It's been known for a long time that rich people are favored by those handing out "Justice" so-called.

I hope Paris wasn't too "traumatized" by the terrible conditions she had to undergo.

Well hey, politicians get voted in there by the American people. It's the judges... *goes off on a rant about liberal judges*

What proof do you have? Considering the political parties choose their own candidates doesn't mean the american people choose them, rather they had to vote between the lesser of two evils.

They don't have to vote, although that's what everyone seems to be told these days.

D'you think it's better to vote for the lesser of two evils(so he's still evil...) or not vote at all?

The problem isn't as simple as politicians. It isn't as simple as judges.

The real problem is human nature. Every government is flawed because governments are comprised of people, who are flawed.

There will never be a perfect man-made government.
