My daughter, Shanon, is in high school chorus. The chorus has to perform in a concert on the 24 of March (Maundy Thursday) at 7 PM. When she gave me those dates she told me if she would not attend she would get a “0” for a grade. On the same day / time, in the evening my church also observes the last supper that Jesus had with his 12 disciples. I did not know what to do, because I want to attend Church on Thursday. So all I did was write a note to her chorus teacher and told her the whole story about us wanting to attend church. Also, that I do not agree with the “0” grade policy; especially, during what I consider a Holy Week. With some prayers added she called me back and my daughter Shanon is excused for that date. Praise God for a quick answer to my prayers.
