An Uldaman Success Story

Grats to Kigedo on the recent Uldaman run.

Yesterday, (around 11 AM Server Time) Kigedo and I decided to run Uldaman since we both had quests there. We got in a group with two players from DHARMA. So it ended up being sort of a joint Redeemed/DHARMA effort. Let me just say that it was the best Uldaman run I've ever had. In fact, it may be one of the best instance runs I've ever had period. There was much cooperation and everyone pulled their weight. There were no squabbles over loot and much enjoyment was had by all. The Uldaman bosses were tough and we did wipe once. I ended up using my soulstone too early and got re-dead, forcing everyone to res the old fashioned way. But we got through it.

Special thanks goes to k'ek (that's an e with a grave accent that I don't know how to make) of DHARMA, a level 50 NE druid whose bear form was our tank. He held the group together and even though I let him die twice (healing takes much mana), he still took the time to get his armor repaired 3 cities away in the middle of the run and then come back rested and refreshed. He is truly a master of instance tactics and managed aggro to a masterful degree.

Grats to Kigedo on all the cool loot we both got and all the quests we finished. Thanks to this run, I leveled to 44. w00t!

Thanks for the gratz, all. We really did have fun. Times like this make me glad to be in Redeemed (and playing WoW!)

People don't like the early instances all too much. Don't know why, probably because you are having to deal with people who have no clue about how to play their toon or do something other then what they want.

Uldaman: Summoning that Indiana Jones boss, what a hoot. Still gets me everytime. The final boss in Uldaman, you have kill the boss and adds that come randomly then near the end of the fight, you have a bunch of adds. This takes raid like co-ordination.

SM Library: You have to watch for the bosses emote to get out of a blast AoE. Many raid bosses have the same idea built into them.

SM Armory: Kill the boss and 50 adds get quite angry and attack you enmass.

SM Cathederal: Romoluo and Julienne precurser.

Gnomer: Final boss, somebody has to run around dealing with bombs, again a precurser to raids where you have to have some of the raid dealing with one aspect while the other half deals with another aspect on an encounter.

all that learning but no one ever wants to do them, they just want a 70 to blast them through them and take all the fun out of it:P
