I think I caught you in your Magical Thinking. Along with believing in a Magical Salvation by Faith Alone, you also believe that if you Repeat over and over again the 'real' name of Jesus (which everyone else gets wrong) you will acquire some special blessing.

But look at it from God's point of view. Here is some worm who is trying to put itself above its fellows. What to do with such Pride? Well, step on it!

Actually, I think the Matreya here isn't an actual person -- but one of those New Age 'channelling' things, where some guy or gal gets paid a fat lecture fee for acting like God for 45 minutes.  Sort of the way Paul said he was Channelling Christ.  Can you believe people still fall for that kind of crap.
 
Actually Leo I did that to mock Adelpit and his view of you must say that over and over to get the Holy Spirit. I dont believe I will get a special blessing for useing the true name of our saviour I do it out of respect. If I went to Yisrael I would not want them to call me Hvrd. (which is the best I can spell the transliteration of my name in english) Out of respect I would want them to call me by my actuall name. I believe we owe our saviour the same respect IMHO. No I do not believe in faith alone you get to heaven. faith without works is dead. I can say Yeshua is the Lord all I want but if I do not do what he tells me to do i am lying.

Why not just make God G-d out of respect?
Maitreyah is most likely a real person, however deluded he is. And he is definitely some pinnacle of New Age-ness. I am most certain he will delude many before dying and being replaced (as it stands, he is unseen and will remain unseen) so that there are different incarnations of one and the same Maitreyah. Deception through the ages.
 
Because I see G-d as disrespectfull. Yeshua died so I could have a relationship with God so not saying his name is disrespectfull I believe.
 
You're not a Jew. If you're going to call a Deity by his Jewish titles or names, you might as well completely go Judaic. Circumcise, sacrifice, wail at the wall, wear fabrics of one material, don't eat pork, wash your hands in an insanely meticulous manner, don't associate with pagans (as Christians)...in other words, go all Jew, or don't act Jew at all.

There's some weird cult in China called "Lightning from the East" that believes that Jesus has come back as a woman somewhere in China or something to that effect. Lots of people think that they are God or Jesus reincarnated or some stuff like that... pretty crazy to me... but nothing new, as has been said.. people have thought things like them being God for years past... and probably in years to come.

It sounds like China may be ripe for its True Conversion.

You should keep in mind that there is a real distinction between the Pure Experience of a Divine Manifestation, and then about how people will interpret it, and explain it. For instance, there was the Crucifixion of Christ -- what happened was exactly what happened. But it is interpretted in a number of ways. Catholics see it as the beginning of the Church's Suffering for the Sins of the World, but Protestants see it as the end of suffering. Some see it as a Call to Penance and Atonement. Some see it as an excuse to renounce penance and any religious discomfort.

So, there may have been some True Godly things happening in China, for all we know. What we would need to pay attention to is what exactly happened. I've been on spiritual tours where certain Gurus were interviewed or observed. With the words and events, people will be close to being on the same page, but when it comes to what it all "means" then you get all sorts of silliness.

So, just because you hear about all sorts of silliness, you can't instantly infer that what really happened was inherently 'silly'.
