Anime on DVD

I personally own box sets for only a few anime but of them the ones I enjoy the most are as follow:

1. FLCL
2. Trigun
3. Cowboy Bebop

Starting to get into Naruto, Fullmetal Alchemist, and One Piece (got to love Roronoa Zolo fighting with 3 blades at once)

I was huge into Dragonball, DBZ, and DBGT but those have sort of fallen off.

I usually check out Discount Anime DVD for all my dvds and books, pretty wide varity as long as you stay away from the hentai as tek posted in another topic.

Smiles and the rebirth of yet another old thread. Hubby and I tend to watch anime at times as well. Your local Blockbuster should have a variety that you could try before you buy just to make sure you'd enjoy them. We have the latest final fantasy...... sort of hard for me to follow though but some days are like that.

EBay seems, in my opinion, the way to go on buying box sets. For example, Samurai Champloo costs something like $140 in stores, but you can get it for $20 on ebay from a guy who's sold many of them before (so you don't have to worry about getting ripped off).

Another note, you can use google video to find the first episode or two in a series. That way you'll know if it's something you'd like. I found Samurai Champloo and now I'm kinda addicted... thanks Tek. :-P

I think I have a hard time believing that the same $140 set in stores can be had for $20 on Ebay. I don't want to spend money on something that isn't officially produced.

ebay and paypal is a scam, it works but eventually you will be burned

That's not true. I've used Ebay/Paypal and done business both buying and selling for years, and I've only had one problem in that time. You just have to be thorough and smart and check feedback. And you have to have some common sense and question an item that is being sold for $120 less than retail price. :p
