Anyone going to Dragon*Con in Atlanta this year?

Thought I'd ask. I'm going Saturday and Sunday only, dorkelf Sunday only. If you come, stop by the Fans for Christ table and say hey! Whoever is there will be a very nice person, I promise!
 
I have a funny story about a dragon-con from about 3 years ago.

My wife and I were staying at the Peachtree Plaza hotel downtown for our wedding anniversary. Just so happens it was also the gay pride weekend AS WELL AS dragon-con. Talk about a weird mix of people. Nothing quite like seeing Boba Fett and some Storm troopers walking down the street through a crowd of lesbians.
 
I have a funny story about Atlanta...I used to live there btw.

I got stuck in traffic one day as a parade was going by, I parade that I knew nothing about. We were a number of cars behind and didn't have a good view...the kids shouted..."Look Dad... A PARADE...yay" I got out and walked up a few cars and saw a bunch of "men" in tube tops and daisy dukes, with signs and banners about gay pride and such. I shook my head, went back to the car and said..."ummm...no kids, we don't want anything that THEY will through to the crowds" I turned around in the traffic and headed the other way. The kids always thought I was mean, now that they are older and would understand, I told them the story a few months ago, they remembered it, and thank me now :) "you always know best dad"...lol...never thought I would here my teens say that.
