Anyone have a spare copy of Neverwinter Nights I can borrow for 3 weeks?

Good news: Bioware is on the hunt for a new staff writer for a MMO in development.

Bad news: Applying for the job requires applicants to create a scenario using the Neverwinter Nights toolset.

Worse news: I just got laid off and can't justify buying a game for the sole purpose of a job application.

If anyone has a copy of NWN I can borrow for 3 weeks, I can try to work up an application for the position. I don't know if I would be able to move to Austin, Texas by the time they'd be looking to hire someone, but writing for Bioware and working on a role-playing game is a dream job.

Err, problem is, I probably won't be back out to that area again before I leave St. Louis since I got laid off this week. :(

Actually, someone on the forums already sent me a PM with their license key. If I can find a way to download the ISOs, I could legally install the game with the borrowed license key.

I'll post with updates soon.

Acquired a copy of the Neverwinter Nights Diamond Edition DVD.

Received a legitimate CD key in my PM inbox.

Plan to sit down with pen and pad today or tomorrow to sketch out some rough notes for scripts.

Plan to play around with and learn the toolset later this weekend or early next week.

Tek has an excuse to play games, lucky guy. NWN is pretty fun despite it's age, i've never messed with the toolset though.

Aye, it is. I spend 1 minute racked with guilt for every 1 minute of playing games during business hours.

After 5 p.m. Central, though, that's another story. :)
 
UPDATE: Neverwinter Nights installed and patched.

All that remains is to learn the basics of the toolset and write 3000 words of dialogue.

/me takes a deep breath
