I've said it before: I'm neither talented nor particularly interested in constructing large architectural designs. I also don't see the need to join a server just to go off on my own and build my own camp, village, castle, whatever. I can do that in single-player.
The current server appears to taken a very specific direction: everyone off doing their own thing, while at some point (probably after completing their own base), cooperatively building an enormous castle structure. As neither of those play styles particularly appeal to me, I have not been actively participating on the server. But then, I wasn't actively participating before, so there's no real loss, is there?

I've been on, but its been awful crazy at home and I haven't been on like a was a couple weeks ago. Until I get sicky pistons I can't continue my project.
