April 2010 Co-GL Election Candidate Statements & Voting Instructions

OK, time for the next step. We had 5 names at the conclusion of the nomination process. 3 of those nominees decided not to run. That leaves the two brave souls who are ready and willing to stand for election:

* Cryøgenic
* Reco

Here's the process from here on out:
1) Each of the candidates should post in this thread a not-too-lengthy statement about their qualifications, about why they'd like to be co-GL, and what they'd like to accomplish as co-GL. NO ONE ELSE SHOULD POST IN THIS THREAD, JUST THE TWO NAMES ABOVE. For the two candidates, please do this by end of Thursday, 4/29/10.
2) On Thursday 4/29, I'll add to this post, voting instructions for everyone. Voting will be done via in-game mail, running Friday 4/30 through Thursday 5/6/10.
3) The candidate with the highest vote total will be elected co-GL for a term running until April 2011.

If you have any questions, please PM Shagz or myself. Again, don't post in this thread, or it'll be deleted.

Well time has flown and my 4 month term is up. I would like to thank the Redeemed members for allowing me to serve them. I would remind everyone that the greatest leader is a servant of all. I hope members truly feel I have been working for them to make our guild a family freindly atmosphere and a place for all playstyles to call home. I would like to thank both Shagz and Cassadine for their leadership and working with me. I do not think all Redeemeed members realize what a great job both of them have done.


I would like to seek your vote to again have the honor to serve you in this position for the next year. In 4 short months I think we have accomplished alot. We have accomplished a Veteran document for those who wish to end game raid, improved our guild bank and made it more available to members, and have brought overall stablity to the guild. That being said there is much more to do. There are many more projects that I would like to see happen. I am a raid minded person so of course I want to see our 25 man progression continue to improve, but I also want to improve on many more other areas of fellowship and fun. I have goals to see us organize a team of people to help people leveling that are being griefed. A gank squad so to speak. I want us to continue to do events where everyone can take part not just end game minded people. Such as a event Sambeau is planning on May 15th or so. Make sure to check in with him for details. The officers plan to promote someone to a position of a spiritual officer or pastor. There are many things left to do and I would ask that you give me another year to push forward and continue to work towards these goals. All in all I want Redeemed to be a awesome family where everyone feels welcome no matter what their ultimate interest is in WoW. We have a diverse dynamic going on and the most awesome part is it is Jesus that gives us the one thing we all hold in common. I look forward to serving again. Thanks for the opportunity.

First of all I would like to say that its an honor to be nominated. I love Redeemed and I'm glad to be a part of it no matter what position I hold or do not hold.

I started playing WoW during BC and the whole reason that I am on Stonemaul is because of Redeemed. I started playing the same time Flamethrøwer did and we heard about Redeemed and decided to check it out. We still have new members joining that are realm transfers and that says alot of our guild reputation. It says alot about us as a community of Believers as well. I want to see both our in game and out of game rep not only remain strong but get stronger and I will do everything I can to see that it happens.

If elected I will do everything I can to serve the guild in any way needed. I could give you all a list of what I want to do, a "Road Map of Redeemed" so to speak, but its not really just about what I want. Im not saying I dont have ideas but rather Im saying that I want to put the guild first and what is best for all members. One thing that I love about Redeemed and would like to see strengthened however is a more consistent Bible Study because I feel that if we grow together in Christ then we will also grow together in other areas as a guild. We have done some great things as a guild as far as raiding and I would love to see our progress continue in that area. As I said earlier I love our guild and would like the opportunity to serve you all the best that I can. Thank you for your consideration for this position.

Voting information:
1) Send votes via in-game mail to Redballot
2) Vote for ONE name from the above candidates. We are looking for 1 name per ballot. More than 1 name on a ballot will result in the ballot being tossed and your being referred back to elementary school math.
3) Voting will close at NOON on THURSDAY MAY 6TH. Late votes will not be counted.
4) ONE VOTE PER PLAYER. Not per toon. If you send votes from your main and your alt, both will be disqualified and you will be /gkicked.
5) FYI: the Redballot toon is owned by Cassadine. Votes will be counted by Cassadine and forwarded to Shagz for double-checking.
6) If you have any other questions about process, let me or Shagz know.
