I was blessed by the posting Bill did on a quick Bible study a few days ago. Personally, I would encourage more of that kind of posting. I am also enjoying the virtual pastoral care provided by my online community of friends. I also have another group of online friends who suffer from similar problems which I do that support each other like we do here and I treasure both. However, nothing replaces my local community of faith.
I know there are times when each of us get to a point of such a need that Red speaks of. I would like to remind you, in the midst of our virtual world, let's not ignore our local body of worship. Also, there is nothing quite like sitting together with my brothers and sisters in Christ, discussing the Word and its application to our lives - encouraging and challenging one another in our relationship with the Lord. Don't ignore the gathering together with fellow believers - a biblical warning we all need to heed. It seems to me that faith seeks out faith...even online! Ain't it great?!
