Is anyone running arena teams in our guild? I haven't heard much chat about it.

I'm interested in starting or joining anyone in doing some 2v2, 3v3 or 5v5 for fun. :)

Well.....
Lufia, Berekiah, and I currently have a 3s team at about 1575 or so, we usually hit the arenas monday night at about 11- Midnight ST.
Not sure exactly where you are or if that is doable.... but as disappointing as it may be to not get 5/5 veng....we are having a great time with the matches, it started off more as oo free gear, and has morphed (with ret goodness) into a lot of fun!
we have tried albeit passivly to get 5s going but usually theres not enough people on at that time. maybe in the week you can keep an eye out and we can get some more pew pew going on. I have never tried 5s, but I imagine that it would be quite FUN.
you may be able to get a piece before the season ends... but hey its practice for next time. I actually wish I would have known how fun arenas were a while ago, but ahh well fresh start at 80
 
nice. 5's sounds like a blast. I'd start a team if there is enough interest. With the honor point reset coming at the release its going to be all about having fun and getting some good practice. :)
 
definitly.. even before the echoes of doom, we started getting our dynamic and communication better, so getting familiar with it now would be the best.
also a great addon for arenas is proximo.
It puts up a party like box for the other team and you can adjust the settings so that you can do things like DPS down the warrior while watching the priest(cast bar shown) and in the middle of his greater heal, cast repent by left clicking on the health bar. I am still a noob at using it but I am finding it more and more nifty with each week.
