Article: Thou Shalt Not Kill, Except in a Popular Video Game at Church

Unless the churches are requiring youth's parents to sign a release form before allowing youth to play the games

This is the issue in which i get frustrated with. If churches are not making it know to the kid's parents... then we have issues. I have NO problem playing an M-rated game. My father has no problem with me playing an M-rated game. We have that understanding, i can get permission. If a kid who doesn't have permission from a parent (or even worse, there parents don't let them play an M-rated game) just walks in and starts playing then we have an issue.

That is my stance on the issue.

yet i really put the job on the parents. Parents are getting really lazy in the past years. Parents have left it up to the schools to raise there kids, the youth group to teach there kids the word, and whoever the kid choses to counsel the kid. That just frustrates me. To many parents don't even sit down with there kid and teach them the Bible, or even read the Bible with there kid. I believe it is Biblical (in accordance with Leviticus) for a parent to guide the spiritual growth of the child.
I believe parents need a more active role in finding out.... hmmm.... my kid has access to a computer and the internet... i should figure out what they are getting into.... just maybe?

Playing a PC game and spreading the gospel at the same time is honoring god and having fun. Video games are not a sin, Killing in reality is. this is what i say to people all day on secular forums.
