For this task, I will require a skilled kiter (probably a hunter), and possibly another healer other than myself. This person must be willing to spend a couple gold in repairs, which I might be able to provide if necessary :p
Additionally, free action potions may be helpful as some of my targets may have stun/snare abilities.

And the objectives are to...

KILL REXXAR!!!! KILL CAIRNE BLOODHOOF!!!


Rexxar's pet, from what I remember, wasn't nearly as bad as Rexxar himself, so it shouldn't be too hard to tank Misha for a while.

Rexxar, on the other hand, would shatter Ragnaros in a single hit and send him flying into Onyxia for her to get squished by the big orange hammer so all her deep breaths would go off at once, causing the Blackwing Lair to be reduced to a cinder with the ashes collapsing on the ruins of Ahn-Qiraj so all the bug juices would drown the inhabitants of Naxxramas, most likely leading to the death of a few players. HENCEFORTH, a brave, valiant, and skilled hunter (or hunterS) will be needed in the assassination of the Champion of the Horde.

I heard Anadi managed to kite Cairne if it weren't for the elite guards. During a raid I had on Orgrimmar (er, a solo raid) the elite guards really didn't hit very hard. With a paladin (me), I think it would be possible if I tanked the elites while a hunter kited the cow down until we get 12 stamina potions like in Diablo 2.

Sooooooooooooooooooooooooo....any volunteers?? :D

I have to figure out how to get cairne from top of thunderbluff all the way to the bottom. I tried kiting him from the top and jumping off the cliff while having a slow fall effect on but he just resets. I don't know if he resets as an anit-kiting ability or because of the pathing. But I'd be up for it if im not busy.
 
I would love to do this, but Ulfbrikt is only level 45 right now. So, since I can't go, I'm going to ask that Azzie and whoever helps him take a video of their assassination attempts.
 
hm, i was thinking about using the jump-off parachute technique, but since you (anadi) said it doesn't work, mayyybe we'll have to kite him and kill him INSIDE the city, which would require us to attack at a time where everybody's logged out.

Or, we could try using the elevator like everyone else...

But, you up for killing rexxar, anadi and sassy? I think he'd be a bit easier than Cairne...

Sure, a lot of the lower lvls 40ish and up can come for this guy, as long as they dont agro the mobs around in Desolace it'll be fun.
 
20+ 60's if you want to straight up tank/dps him and his pet down. With kiting probably a lot less cause you can kite Rexxar and Misha to Astranaar where gaurds can help (in theory).

Nope, no loots, no honor, just pure fun. The reason he has no loot or honor is cause the alliance would just farm him and the horde would never be able to complete their onyxia key chain.

Can't think of a better reason to farm him, nope.
 
I was hoping we could try it with no more than 3-4 people, cuz a full group just wouldn't be impressive on video :p

After all, Blightcaller is probably the equivalent of Rexxar, and he's been killed countless times for the quest.

GROUP: AZZIE, ANADI, SASSPERILLA
OBJECTIVE: ASSASSINATE REXXAR (FAILED)
CASUALTIES: AZZIE (1)

ANALYSIS: It appears Rexxar can be kited, and therefore potentially taken down by a single hunter. It is seemingly difficult to keep him in combat, however, because otherwise he goes evade. What may help is for the paladin and the hunter to be both affected by aspect of the pack, while the paladin keeps judgement of wisdom on the target to keep him in combat. Additionally, it appears that Rexxar has an incredible amount of health, so it will require quite some time for 3 people to successfully down him.

OBJECTIVE: ASSASSINATE REXXAR (FAILED)
CASUALTIES: AZZIE (1)

ANALYSIS: Rexxar's health regeneration is low enough to gradually take him down with the dps of a single hunter. It may take several hours of perfect kiting, but is definitely possible.
