Best CMS (content management system) for personal site?

I'm preparing to move my personal site from Go Daddy to PowWeb, but have to save up a few dollars to pre-pay for a year and dodge setup fees. In the meantime, I'd like recommendations for the best (read: least bloated, most secure) content management system for a personal site. My site already includes a gallery with hundreds of photos and a database with many stories. After the Christian Gamers Alliance web site was defaced (and after reading security bulletins ad nauseum), I've decided to drop PHP-Nuke for good.

I'm thinking I'll probably use WordPress and Gallery 2.0, in conjunction with the WPG2 plugin. I'm not a blogger by any means, but I use WordPress for my family web site and find that I rather like it.

Anyone else have suggestions?

I like wordpress. :)

I've tried e107, phpnuke, and all the different cms/blog options offered via Fantastico. I disliked most of them.
