I am not very informed about this place; all I hear about are MC, ZG, and Ony. BWL seems rather...quiet.

How many people should be brought for this, and how long would it usually take? I haven't a clue about this place. Maybe after we get a few more 60's we could try this if it doesn't take 40 people...or full epic gear.
 
If im not mistaken BWL is a step up from MC in terms of mobs and boss lvl. I think its a bit further off than MC for us. We'll get there someday though, I have faith.
 
You do not start BWL until you are on farm status with the boss of MC. Farm status means taking him down four straight times.

BWL is much more difficult than MC and is a 40 man I think.

Onyxia is not a bad 20 man run. It requires a very well geared tank which we are working on.

ZG just got the nerf bat so we maybe able to go deeper than we have in the past.

I thought Melko was really well geared?
 
You don't hear much about Blackwing lair because only 3 alliance guilds are able to kill all the bosses. Its 40 man and you really need fire resist gear before you contemplat trying it.
 
Funny you all should mention this. When I was talking with Elihu the other day, he mentioned BWL and how difficult it is. So I did a bit of searching and tracked down this video.
 
BWL is indeed the next instance from MC, the best way to check it out is to zone into it. If you are attuned to it you can use the orb to zone into it (the orb is at the end of the hallway to the right of the ubrs/lbrs instance portal). To get attuned for BWL you need to kill the quartermaster that spawns near the orb and he'll drop an item that starts the quest. The very first thing in BWL is the Razorgore fight.

Mobs in BWL come in groups and are like bosses in MC (maybe harder), bosses in BWL are in a league of their own. The second boss requires a lot of FR gear, also most of the bosses in there require an onyxia scale cloak to avoid the effect of the DoT that kills in 1-2 ticks.

The curse movie is awesome! However, it really gives no clue to how hard the bosses are.
 
Yeah im attuned to bwl...ironic how the hardest instance has almost the easiest attunement of the last 3 instances (MC, Ony, BWL)

Rofl! So true. Hopefully AQ doesnt require rep or anything to zone in.
