Blizzcon '08

I R going to Disneyland today! The wife and I have season passes to D-land.
As for Avesther...season pass to Sea World?? I might have to LOL at u 2. But, do you say that because they had a 'buy-one-day-get-the-rest-of-the-year-free' deal? And when are you going to Disneyland?

We are going to Disneyland during the week of June 15th...for 3 days...not sure which ones yet though. And yes, Seaworld was buy one day get the rest of the year free deal...which we figured we would never use but we humored them anyways and it looks like we can actually take advantage of it. Anyone been to the San Diego Zoo? I hear its lame compared to ours...but I also heard they had Koala bears...and the likelyhood of me getting to Australia soon is slim to none so...

Its only slim to none because of the cost. If we could say find some cheap airfare and a cheap place to stay.....

The San Diego Zoo is fantastic. I can't comment on Calgary's, but San Diego is generally considered one of the best in the US. You might also want to look into the San Diego Wild Animal Park. It's actually in northern San Diego county, and is arranged as a number of different habitats, with the animals in each living out in the open with each other. There's a tram that you can take that goes all around the park and gives you a 'bird's eye' view of the different habitats. It's really well done.

The Calgary Zoo and San Diego Zoo are closely related. Both are very modern zoo's and the San Diego Wild Animal park and the Canadian Wilds at the Calgary Zoo are very similiar in that both parks attempt to present the animals in natural habitats instead of cages. The Calgary Zoo overal also attempts to closely mimic natural habitats for all its inhabitants including those that are in un-natural enclosures.

Sounds almost like the Calgary zoo may be like both San Diego parks in one. I'm going to Yahoo it! And my more recent favorite, Wiki .

The San Diego Zoo is amazing. But if you happen to be driving through Oregon make sure you check out Wildlife Safari. It is a park where the animals roam free also. They have giraffes and elephants and cheetahs, and all kinds things.
