I don't mind the wait, to check out info, videos and stuff about games like Starcraft II.
Have you seen the lastest videos, its so funny and embarrassing.
I can't believe a Murloc won 2nd place in the Costume Contest.

That was the World Wide Invitational, which IIRC, was held in Europe this year.
BlizzCon has always been held in Anaheim. I went for a day the first time they held it because Candle gave me his guest pass (I was going to school in the LA area at the time). Watched the pro Starcraft and Warcraft 3 tournament, which was a lot of fun. I also got to demo the now defunct Starcraft: Ghost and watched a few presentations. I'd consider buying tickets, except it's during the school year, and I have no idea how much work to expect during the weekend.

The tickets go on sale Aug. 11th. If you want to go, buy the tickets early as they are sure to sell out. Hope to see some people there.

Starcraft Legacy has a boatload of information on Starcraft II. I'm actually choosing not to read too many articles about SC2 before Blizzard sets a release date. I've read the Starcraft 1 beta e-mails and know just how much the game can change before release.
Once it goes beta, I'm sure I'll be absorbed in the Starcraft universe once again. Until then, I'm waiting as patiently as I can.
I know, I know but...
Man! Why must it be so loooong...
Also I must add that while I own the original Starcraft Battle Chest, I really, really, stink at it

Blizzard has a long standing tradition of not releaseing games, until they feel it is done, no matter how long it takes.
