Burning Crusade: January 2007

You see me on all the time because I usually only play at night because it's after all my classes and meetings. And I just want to unwind by killing things. Most of my girl friends in RL shake their heads at me for playing so I have to play less. This usually happens when I happen to be talking to friends who do play WoW about the game (ie.Azzie).

BTW, that isn't Nikki in your avatar, is it? I don't think the age of the strapping young man matches up to Nikki's time with us, but it sure looks like her. It makes me sad. =(

That is actually Timmy. Isn't amazing how much he looks like Niki?

He is a little bit smarter than Niki was, but not as social as she was. I wonder if those two are related.

Timmy is almost 3, that picture was a year ago.

Niki now resides on my office shelf. The kids come in a pet her every so often.

Cuddly, I'm sure. Laying out on the hammock with her wouldn't be quite the same, I'm afraid.

MMORPGs are more then a game. We are interacting with each other in real time. It is really no different then getting together with friends every Thursday to go bowling. The only difference is in a MMORPG you can't reach out and touch somebody, but the lack of that doesn't make the people on the other end any less real does it?

Oh well, I guess some people are just silly.
 
As much as I like talking about WoW over WoW and forums, I wish I had someone here in my presence I could talk to WoW about too.
 
I am being social R-tard! I am communicating with my team on Vent and sharing phat lewts in MC...

It does make it nicer to be able to talk to someone about the game, especially if that person is your wife and she gets more excited about winning Magisters robes in UBRS than getting flowers at work hehe:)

Speaking for Treebranch, Mirakle and Myself it rocks to talk WoW at work. Some of the other guys at church call us junior high girls. You should see those two get worked up about MC and Loot.

Well, I would feel so much like a dork if you were to walk up to me at work and say "Taylor! How do you like your new armor!!! The stas are sweet!" I'd probably walk away...
 
Last night, Treebranch won the Staff of Dominance. They were playing at the church. I had to pick up my daughter from the church and went up to see them.

Tree texted me to tell me he got it. When I got to the office he told me how he got it. Then pulled up the screen with the stats on it to show to me. Then after I got home he relogged and said, "I cant sleep because of the Staff of Dominance".

So Odale, I live that statement you made.

GP, I think it is obvious who is gear-xcited.
