Out of the two classes I enjoy playing the most, the Mage and Priest, only the Mage Spells/Talents are up. So far, out of viewing these, I can say I'm extremely happy.
Mage Spells
Arcane Blast - Requires lvl 64 - Blasts the target with energy, dealing 483 to 557 Arcane damage. Each time you cast Arcane Blast, the casting time is reduced while mana cost is increased. Effect stacks up to 5 times and lasts 8 sec.
Good, and bad. It says the effect stacks up to 5 times, but I'm not quite sure of the advantage of it stacking. Depending on the stack number will depend on the casting time and/or the mana cost? Maybe, but I'm not 100% sure on this. However a 2.5 second cast time to start is a lot, however it is only 190 mana to do so for an average of 520dmg from the base spell. A great damage/mana spell.
Invisibility - Requires lvl 68 - Fades the caster to invisibility over 8 sec. The effect is cancelled if you perform or receive any hostile actions. While invisible, you can only see other invisible targets and those who can see invisible. Lasts 20 sec.
Great new spell!!! Yes, the downside is you can only see other invisible mobs. This is GREAT for mages who like to pvp however. Welcome the new anti-rogue spell. Cast Invis, rank one frost bolt on the rogue = a fight in the mages advantage. The bad part about this spell however is the 5 minute cool down. This spell has to be used correctly, and can't be spammed.
Spellsteal - Requires lvl 70 - Steals a beneficial magic effect from the target. This effect lasts a maximum of 2 min.
Another GREAT new spell. How this will work, I'm not 100% sure. The idea of it is completely awsome however.
Molten Armor - Requires lvl 62 - Causes 60 to 90 Fire damage when hit and reduces the chance you are critically hit by melee attacks and spells by 10%. Lasts 30 min.
This will help mages a lot in pvp as well. The reduction in crit chance is another advantage that mages get against rogues now as well. At the same time, it causes damage. Brilliant!
Ice Lance - Requires lvl 66 - Deals 231 to 293 Frost damage to an enemy target. Damage is increased by 200% against Frozen targets.
This spell only costs 150 mana and has a cast time of 1.5 seconds. If frost mages can use this to stack Winter's Chill effects, look out! If this has a slowing effect also, look out! Great, great new spell if it slows and can add winter's chill. This will be the Frost version of scorch, and more powerful due to the slowing effect. This combined with permafrost is deadly!!!
