Can a guy be a "bride?"

dont take offense but that is a 4th or 5th grade response of i hate sin. i think we all here hate sin, you are 17, you should beable to reason out why we should hate sin and why that agruement was flawed. no one will accept the Jesus you will preach to them based on feeling, that is what every single new age/ eastern religion is. you have to show them facts, explain to them how the Bible is practical to everyday life. you have to get there attention intellictually.

Well. I hate sin because it caues so much pain and suffering. Sin has Torn MT from me. Sin has torn humanity to shreads. you cannot Grade a response like that... If you yourself say you hate sin, does that mean you are a fourth grader? That doesnt make much sense.

Well, the Bible has helped me on many day to day things, but I dont remeber the exact words or even where they are, thats just how God designed me, My brain works so strangley.

In school for example, if I try my hardest to pay attention I will begin to daydream on whatever it is they say so I will miss almost all of the lesson. But If I occupy my attention like with scribbling or best of all playing something very thought intensive like FFT on the Game Boy Advance, my mind passivly memorizes the lesson and I ace the tests. I graduated my last year of highschool with all As and Bs and all year every day I played Game boy

My brain is just weird like that... so I wont be able ot memorize the verses just the meaning of them. All of the things I have leanred form the bible go into my brain and I just use them as they come up. I cannot find them in the bibkle because i memorize them by picture. Human brains remmeber pictures not text, so I kinda have pictures of all of it and its meaning... hard to explain, but I really cannot help how my brain functions, I try to help people as best as I can...

Hey brothers,

First, ByblosHex, keep thinking in that way. It is presenting the Gospel in a way that people can see that it will apply to their lives (Thanks Lion!). By saying the Gospel in your own words, you can spread exactly how Jesus has helped you and try to have people that you encounter understand the need for JEsus as well. Secondly, LionOfJudah is right, you (ByblosHex) need to know (at the least) the location of various verses that you "paraphrase". If you say something, mankind will say, 'ok back that up.' We are to be prepared to "back that up" with the BIBLE. That is one reason that God gave us His Word in a physical format that we can say, "HERE IT IS IN BLACK AND WHITE."
Brothers, continue your discussion because I see realization in both of your words. He is working both of you. KEEP LETTING HIM WORK!

PRAISE GOD AND BLESS HIS NAME, JESUS!!!!!

Hey Flash,

Sorry, I also thought that this was a Christian Gaming Alliance. We need to grow in the Word and His knowledge even more than growing in our skill of CS. I understand you point. Unless someone posts on this thread for another response from me, I will not post again.

Be blessed Flash

PRAISE GOD!!!!!

Ah! I understand Flash's desire to stay on-topic, but, more importantly, I want to encourage discussion of the Word on our forums. Normally, I would move the thread to the CGA General Discussion forum, but I understand many of those who frequent the CS forums don't venture elsewhere on the forums.

How about a compromise? If anyone wishes to open a discussion about the Bible, start the thread on the CGA General Discussion forum and post a link to it on these forums. PM me with the URL of the cross-linking thread and I'll come over and lock it.

Sound groovy?

i guess we shouldnt put Jesus into our CS chapter discussions then.... sorry tek i would disagree with you on this one, i think having some topics like this are far more benefical here than anywhere else, in General and Religious discussion is where most of the non-christian toss in their POV, while it has some use in some topics i think certian ones should remain between believers just as general edification of each other.

I think Tek is right on this, but theres always ToJ general forums to go! but i must punish myself on my ignorance

Hey gang,
I will abide by the authority that has been set over me. I will only post my "biblical" topics on general boards.
I apologize that I caused anyone any undue stress or disagreements with each other, that was not my intention.
Peace to each of you. I'm off to post at another location.
