His IP matches the SirLagalott who posts on here so i would venture a yes..

Havent fingered his wonid yet but im 90% sure its him. Perfect IP match.

Nuts....something else for me to deal with.

I actually have no idea how I got accused of cheating. I got booted one time, I had just joined and the round started. Before I fired one shot I was kicked. I looked into their forums and saw that it doesn't ban and that I would be told if they thought I was doing anything fishy, etc. (And like shark said I stink... well not "stink" just can't do any of the fishy kill through wall stuff). Anway, so I rejoin. The next day, I'm banned. I wonder whats up, but don't really think about it.

I probably could have explained it to the admins, but I didn't really care that much since it wasn't really a main server I played on (although, I did like it).

To sum it up: No, I do not cheat. I'm not really even good enough to be accused of cheating. And, I don't really care, although I wouldn't mind if I got unbanned.
 
connecting to godsquad today i saw they have this feature 'admin_report <wonid> <reason>' i dont play there a lot, but if this is something anyone can use to report a cheater and if there are no checks and balances i can see someone getting upset over a kill and filling that out, just like the people that come into our server to mock Christian CS, just an idea

you need to post in GodSquad forums if you wanna ask to be unbanned.

the admin_report does not ban or kick, it just logs complaints, and they are looked at by the admins later on.
 
I figure if they ban me without warning and all that, I don't think its worth my time and effort to get myself unbanned. If they see this thread, it would be great if they apologized and unbanned me, but if not, I don't want to spend my time with them.
 
you were caught by Half-Life Gaurd VAC. not accused by anyone. im not saying VAC is always right but it generates a cheat violation and shows up on the psychostats list.

i dont see how you think you deserve an apology.
 
Well if a Bank automatically arrested you because a computer matched you as a robber, wouldn't you get an apology? 2 different things, I know, but same idea.

I've been looking at the forums and I've seen a lot of people complaining about being banned unfairly, and those are just the people who care enough to bug them about it. Theres probably many more people who were banned unfairly but don't care enough.

And can we just let this thread die? plzkthx.
 
Im gonan end this thread now.... After looking into the situation and corresponding with lagalott i have no reason to believe he was h4x0ring.

Im not sure an apology from Godsquad is necessary but if it smooths things over then swallow the pride. But lagalott.. you shouldnt really require one.

Now even though there is no evidence of cheating except the log from godsquad server, i am going to ask the admins to watch lagalott for any signs of cheating.. just as a precaution.

Please do not consider yourself victimised. Thanx to all the people that supplied info in this thing..I hope there is no bad blood between any of you after this..
