Does anyone want to help me amke a TOJ offshoot. Of corse it would still be a Christian clan and we would still wear the tag. The reason for this is that if we had a clan then when we had scrims we could tell more people about Chirst. I don't know if anyone will do this but if not you have your reasons and that is all I care about.

However, I HAVE NO TIME COMMITMENTS! (My parents severely limit my time on CS or on the computer...)
 
Phase this is coming a leader (get as much support as you can before you start) and get as many almost 24/7 people you can.

i find this vaguely disturbing. especially considering how many positions within ToJ still need filling.
 
If you guys want to "scrim" and possibly league, then ToJ has a very vast history of such. Instead of splitting more what is already split, I would suggest getting more involved in this community because quite frankly, theres nothing you would get from forming your own "clan" that you can't get right here at home.

And heres the other problem: we are a community. That means that we as a staff and members are here for you. When people want to go make other "clans", that tells us as a staff that we're not doing our job. Guys, this is your community. You can only get from it what your willing to put in. As President John F. Kennedy said "Ask not what your country can do for you, but ask what can you do for your country."
If you want to revive the old ToJ A-team, then do it. See if theres enought interest and go from there.

Guys, seriously. Don't try to split up your community. Many people time and time again have done it and all have come with the same result: seemingly endless conflict between the two groups and thats not what we need.
 
And yet Para is right again let me explain why i did what i did well see it was after you guys did the "A team try outs" and it got dumped. I remember reading some where here that you guys didnt "feel led" to a competion team. So i got sick of waiting. I was waiting ever since there was that post will there be a b team and that got dumped so.

We "dumped" the A-team NOT because I could not commit to it, but because there was not enough interest to do it. I had about 2 people that were seriously willing to commit to it and that were actually on ToJ. I seriously wanted it to work out, but sometimes they just don't. But as you said, time has passed and things are different.
 
This doesnt need to get unfriendly... People seek other clans becuase they want identity and they want competition...

I guess that means they totally misunderstand the reason ToJ exists... In which case i wouldnt be sad to see them go and join a CS based comp clan... I have more important things to do than herd sheep.

And if you want to scrim someone... challenge the admins O_o..

The problem there with the challenge the admins is there all formal A-team and there "good" and non of the high profile off based comp teams arent against them well sD isnt because there "banned" and t'awe because goose is an admin rest are a bunch of "nubs" major noobs. I know lots of people i mean lots and they all say toj has skill there just on other teams because of the past.
 
Id love to get on an A team on source. I just found out that iam stuck with a computer. Didn't sell on ebay. So i want to have fellowship and competition. B-man and whom ever else. I want i bigger role in toj..... team wise and maybe baby leader wise. I have about 2-5 hours aday where i can take part in something like toj team. someone let me know.


I don't know what positions need to be filled. can someone post a link. I am able and ready to get more involved.
I'll even start to type in complete sentences if i have to. I just don't have time this sec to check all old posts.

You got me there goose..im just as confused as you are i think....makes me wonder if some people actually read their posts before they post them :P
 
Maybe if you dont stand a chance again the Admins then you shouldnt be making a comp team? The admins arent the A team, they are a group of people who practice together... In most cases they dont even play that often... And if you get owned by them you are going to be burninated when you come across a real team.
 
Couple things i want to add. It wasn't enough interest, i think it was rather hesitating some leaders had. Half of t.awe and sD once were or still are in ToJ, which could've turned out as a Highly successful competition team of ToJ.

Thats about it, past is past, this is where we stand.
