We are taking nominations for Co-Guild Leader.

Declines Nomination-

After this weekend I will interview the canidates and see if they are willing to serve and understand the responsibilities involved to the fullest degree.

We will then vote next week.

Only the spot vacated by FJ and now being held in an interim by Treebranch.

My nomination is based on this persons contributions to the guild. This person is always helpful and appreciative, fun to group with and somebody I believe possess a natural leadership skillset.

I suspect strongly this person will decline the nomination and even so, I would like to nominate this person any way to bestow recognition of their contributions to the guild. We don't do things for recognition, we serve because we are humble and God acknowledges such persons in servitude.

So, I nominate Schmeea for position of co-guild leader as I have recognized her good works and believe that she has made a difference.
 
Thank you Avesther for the kind thoughts. You are right, I will have to decline as I do not see myself online enough to do justice to that position. I am happy getting on and helping the lower levels when I can and having fun with trying to UBR my 70 rogue out now that I finally reached 70! muwahahahaa - watch out OUTLAND
 
While I do appreciate the fact that someone deemed me worthy enough to be nominated for this position, I am going to have to decline. I personally feel that I would not be ready to assist in leading the guild if I were elected, and that we have much more qualified individuals to lead us. I will still do what I can to help everyone out, and can offer any advice to people if asked. Good luck to all nominees, and may God help us in choosing his next leader amongst us.

Elections will begin Wednesday evening and run thru Sunday night.

Results will be announced Monday.

I am closing the thread so I can communicate with all nominees before the election begins.
 
Like others above, I'm flattered by the nomination, but
1) feel like there are other awesome nominees above who would do a better job than me
2) RL is pwning me a bit right now
3) I like playing banker!

Thus, I'm withdrawing my nomination, too. Although I certainly hope to help the guild in whatever way I can ... and I'm excited by what a deep pool of committed folks we have to provide leadership to the guild.

After having briefly experiencing being GL of Sanctification ... it's HARD WORK! We should all be truly grateful for the leadership and sacrifices by the great leaders that we have in Redeemed.
