I wish Dallas would have signed Ricky Williams straight out of UT.  I still have hope after this stint in Miami, he will go to Dallas.  They are in desperate need of a running back and quarterback.  We'll see.  After going 5-11 and the next year going 10-6, I'm hopeful that next year we will give Philly a run for their money.  

Since both the teams I wanted to win lost, Dallas and Green Bay, I'll be rooting for the Panthers. (Changed my mind) They have never won a superbowl and the Pats have. Plus, it needs to stay in the NFC hands.

props to Elite & Gooseh for having the best quarterback in the NFL, but he went up against one of the greatest defensive minds ever to play the game.

For whatever reason, Bill Bellichek doesn't get anywhere near the props he deserves. To derail that offensive juggernaut that was the Colts surely must have made believers out of some of you.

Now if we can shut down the colts, what are the Panthers gonna do? If Carolina can only score 14 against Philly they are in trouble indeed against NE.

The only issue is, up here in New England people are already celebrating like we won the SuperBowl... but thats why they play the games, anything can happen...

lets go Pats.

Sorry to the Pats fans, but I have to post this:

A first grade teacher explains to her class that she is a Patriots fan. She asks her students to raise their hands if they, too, are Patriots fans. Everyone in the class raises their hand except one little girl. The teacher looks at the girl with surprise and says, "Janie, why didn't you raise your hand?"
"Because I'm not a Patriots fan," she replied.
The teacher, still shocked, asked, "Well, if you are not a Patriots fan, then who are you a fan of?"
"I am a Colts fan, and proud of it," Janie replied.
The teacher could not believe her ears. "Janie, why in the world are you a Colts fan?"
"Because my Mom is a Colts fan, and my dad is a Colts fan, so I'm a Colts fan too!"
"Well," said the teacher in an obviously annoyed tone, "That is no reason for you to be a Colts fan. You don't have to be just like your parents all of the time. What if your Mom were a moron and your dad were a moron, what would you be then?"

"Then," Janie smiled, "I'd be a Patriots fan."
 
Well Chrarles Rogers stays healthy next year, they might do better. Boy that's pathetic hope, almost like thinking the Tigers will get Pudge, or not lose 100 games.
I do enjoy though how everyone still thinks of the Pats as some just kinda so so team that's gotten really lucky. I mean firstly you have to be an incredible team to get to the Super Bowl 2 out of 3 years, now a days. Tom Brady's 26, and easily one of the top 5 quarterbacks with people like Manning, McNair, Favre, and someone else who's good. He get's very little credit though since he lacks more flash then say Michael Vick has. He's probably the best leader in football right now, and he just doesn't make mistakes period. Had thrown 330 something straight passes without a pick at home until Sunday, and 150 something period.
The Patriots have also made the accomplishment of the '76 Dolphins all but meaningless now, especially if they win the Super Bowl. They'll be one win short of the 16 straight wins the Dolphins got, a feat no other team has even come close to.
The Panthers are in trouble offensivly, period. They run one of the most simple offensive schemes in the NFL, due to the caliber of players they have. They will really be lucky to get two touchdowns. I'm done ranting cause you all know I'm right, and better start respectin'.
 
It'd be sweet to see the Colt's offense with the Panthers defense play against the Pats in the Superbowl...

laugh it up boys... its easy to crack the pats when they are on top.

Just remember when Elite's favorite player (tom brady) accepts the Superbowl MVP trophy how 'moronic' us Patriot fans are for choosing the best team in the NFL to root for.

What makes it even worse is that they beat the colts 2x in one year.

Eh...don't know about Tom Brady being Superbowl MVP. I think there are more deserving players out there...mainly on the Pat's team unfortunately. Yes, the Pats went away with two wins, however the Colts beat themselves. The Pats simply helped the Colts beat themselves. I am severely disappointed with the Colts right now...

Superbowl MVP != NFL MVP, REMEMBER THAT!
 
just to add some much needed love to this thread, bill walsh (yes that bill walsh) compared Tom Brady with this quarterback that i'm sure some of you have heard of.

yes its true. says he is more like Joe than any other quarterback he's ever seen.
