Archaeology in 4.0.6 - Grey items changes

That change didn't seem important at first but it's actually more significant than you'd think for people who spend a lot of time hunting for artefacts.

Some of the grey/junk items you get from archaeology had their price considerably increased (up to 1000 gold) and if you have them in your bags it's probably a very good idea to wait for the patch before you sell them ... I'm sure you'd hate to lose 1000 gold (or more!) because of that, right?

As far as I know this change hasn't been hotfixed on live servers and you'll have to wait for the patch."

There's a list of artifacts and their old and new prices on mmo-champion's front page. Needless to say, all that time people spend on arch is about to pay off in a BIG way.
 
Lol. Well MOST of the artifacts are still pretty cheap ... only one at 1000g and only 2 others over 100g. Dwarf socks are still just a few silver. So at the end of the day, I doubt anyone should have that much "seller's remorse" if they've sold the last few days. But yeah, going forward does create a nicer reward system for Archaeology. On a gold per hour basis daily quests and fishing are probably still reliably better, but still, it's a nice change to have that 1000g dangling out there.

Looks like they're still tweaking, though ... it's not 1000g anymore, it's 375g. But now the minimum is now 1g ... and there's a lot in the 10g+ range. Interesting, the payback per hour is probably starting to get pretty even between fishing, arch, and dailies.

What I mean is
If they just give money to people, the AH will inflate
If everything is equal the amount of goods being traded stays the same and the amount of money increases the money is worth less and every thing will cause more


Eh don't worry about it I was making too big of a deal out of it
