I am looking at joomla and it's simple to put content up. HOwever doing the templates is a bit beyond me. I know there's a toj members using joomla could that member contact me please?

wordpress is theoretically a CMS, it just needs a little work. I just use the runPHP plugin to allow me to insert code and do static pages with it.

I used runPHP for MusicSig running on WordPress, by the way. Works quite nicely.

You are right, though -- technically, WordPress is indeed a CMS. It's just limited to certain types of content out of the box. =)

The only thing is that runPHP will snag sometimes and makes debugging alot harder. Of course you get the benefit of having the ability to embed php wherever it is needed. It makes writing little apps really, really easy, if a little bit less manageable.
