Some of you may remember at the beginning of the year, when I lost my job. Some of you may remember that shortly thereafter the whole team I was part of formed their own start up around the project we were all working on.
I say WAS and WERE because about a month ago it all came crashing down in flames and ruin.
Obviously things have been a little weird here - but I have a new job. I'm relocating to Amsterdam in Holland! This is obviously a big WOOT for me, but it means a huge change to my life. On the first of August I'm packing up what little of my former life fits in a holdall, a kitbag and a small leather satchel and I'm leaving the UK via a one way ticket.
To say I'm scared would not be an overstatement!
As part of my big move, I'm giving away a lot of the stuff that I used to think was important. Other bits and pieces like my swords and airsoft collection are going into storage at my parents. My computer is being given to my father - and I have NO way of knowing whether my home address will have an internet connection yet.
So for a period of at least a couple of months, starting from the end of this month, I have to bid you all a fond adieu. I will miss our chats. I will miss the wrangling, I'll miss Cheryl and Rizz and Ultima and SSquared and Timor and all the rest of you nutcases.
