Ever feel like doing something?

So i've had this idea floating around in my head 'Witnessing and being a good example to non-Christians' it's been floating up there for awhile now. I also feel like God is calling me to leadership, but, due to time and lack of biblical knowledge i've been putting it off.

Let me get to the point. Today, while i was at work, i had this strong urge to start up my own WoW guild. It wouldn't be a strictly christian guild, Anyone is welcome. On a side note, it would be a family friendly guild, and advertised as such.

I have not put much thought into this as of yet. But in the following days i will decide whether or not i should go through with this.

What are you thoughts about this?

Search the forums for people that have tried the same in the past and it hasn't gotten far, but if you feel it is right for you then by all means go for it:)

Well, i'm not looking for a huge member base. I just want to be a good example, and be there for people who need it. To me, Redeemed is much like a church. a group mostly made up of christians, and it's been really successful. Well, i'm kinda looking to go out into the land and fellowship. Still not sure what i'm going to end up doing. Keep the thoughts and suggestions coming.

Instead of starting a new guild I think you just need to expand your friend list and do more PUGs and get to really know the people that you are playing with.

I am not saying that a new guild wouldn't work, just saying that it isn't necessary to witness to others.

As far as leadership goes, there are a lot of areas in life that you could find a niche to take a leadership role. Be sure to look to all areas and opportunities in your life (not just WoW) and pray for direction.

In comparing Redeemed to a church: Wouldn't that be like starting a new church then? In a church atmosphere you remain grounded with in that church and witness outside the church to bring people in. Not shooting down your idea just trying to give you some food for thought

=D Thanks for the input.

Well my thoughts where as follows. The aim is to create and atmosphere for non-christians to enjoy. Correct me if i'm wrong, but you are required to be a christian to join ToJ. I think the pug idea is great, but in the end, if they asked, "Hey, i had a good time, could i maybe join your guild?" i would like to say, "Of course!" You know what i mean?

One of the biggest things about this, is i don't mind if there is only 2 people in the guild. If i can make a few friends Christian or non-Christian, Goal accomplished.
