Factions Question

I was wondering if:

1. You need the first game to play it?
2. You can play with people who don't have factions?
3. You can stay in the same guild that you had in the first one?
4. You can use the same account you had in the 1st one?
5. It's worth it?

(BTW, sorry for all the posts I've been making lately)

1. No you don't need Prophecies to play Factions. You only need Factions to play Factions.
2. You cannot play with someone who doesn't have factions if that's all you have. But if you have both games you can play prophecies with other prophecies characters with your factions characters.
3.You can stay in the same guild that you had in the first one. All you do when you have both games is combine the two.
4. Yes as I said in the 3rd question you can combine your accounts for 6 character slots and have access to both games with all 6 characters. However if you keep the accounts seperate you get access to each game with 4 characters.
5.Yup I think so. :)

Alright if you don't have the first game:
1. Nope FActions can be played stand alone so you do not require prophecies to play it.
2. You cannot play with people who don't have factions unless you were to buy prophecies or they were to buy factions.
3.Yup you can indeed stay in the guild if you add the factoins key to your trial account that was already in a guild.
4.Yes your trial account can be converted into a normal account simply by adding the factions or prophecies cd code.
5. You asked if it's worth it, if you are refering to buying factions, yea I think it is. Especially if you're with this guild, friendliest bunch I've found in this game.

Good choice, i didnt realize my account had sneaked up to 13 months old, its interesting to know that you have played the same game for over a year.

One note:

Any Prophecies (original) game characters you created during your trial period will be unplayable if you buy Factions. So if you buy Factions, you start over. If you buy Prophecies, you keep going with the ones you have.

On an interesting note, if you buy Factions you will be one of the first people in the guild to own ONLY Factions. I think there's one other person, but that's it.

In general prophecies is about 1/2 as hard as factions, but prophecies is underpopulated now with several thousands moving on to cantha.

I truely enjoyed playing prophecies for the first time, I recon that if i had started with factions, i would end up stuck somewhere near house zu heltzer and playing cs:s instead

I have never used the game CD to install on either computer, the game client is common, it downloads content automatically and just makes options available as you progress through.

I think your question is if you can just pay for an access key instead of buying the box at your local retail store. I think you can, but the price is the same as the retail price.
