Fantasy Readers Unite!

Just stating fact... TextEdit that comes with OSX is superier to any other editor I have seen for writing. Its lightweight, checks spelling, doesnt crash, and allows you freedom to do your work. I always write in another program because word is slow and likes to crash randomly.

To go off on a slight tangent (which seems to be the running theme nowadays): Text editors are not the same as word processors. TextEdit is a pretty good word processors, but TextMate is the best text editor. It's a programmer's dream.

nano is my favorite editor ever, but people get confused when I use a command line editor and get too many, "o0o whats that?" which is degrading to what I am trying to do..
 
As of today, I have 18 chapters, 82,000 words, and 158 pages printed off in MSWord with .5'' margins and Times New Romans in 11 font. Yowza.
