"In recognition of her many years of devoted service to Guild Wars and the Guild Wars community, we'd like to extend an open invitation to all of our fans to join us in a farewell party for our community relations manager, Gaile Gray.

This very special event begins at Noon Pacific (-7 GMT) on Friday, April 4, 2008 and will run all weekend, ending at Noon Pacific (-7 GMT) on Monday, April 7, 2008. Starting on Saturday, April 5, The Frog's personal friend, The Rabbit, will host a series of final extravaganzas so big they span the better part of three days."

always did like her. Tho i went over to Guru and saw that most of the PvPers hate her..
Hopefully she is going to the right department and will do better and make GW amazing!

Yeah, I liked her too. I was always amazed at how many people despised her. My old alliance was like that. I hope they find another "community relations" person that is just as good.

I don't know why people hated her, she was really cool.
 
At least it's a farewell party, though she'd probably still play GW. I think the PvPers have a slight issue with nerfs...or maybe they were all at the towns during the unofficial events when the mursaat came and killed them, I dunno. I'd like to echo STCs sentiments of saying a fond farewell:
From Signet of the [LION]: We thank you for all your time of devoted service that helps make a game more enjoyable for all of us, we pray for your safety and happiness in whatever you undertake next.
 
Heh...I didnt wanna voice that, but Avenger and I were talking about how "watch it be a cruel joke"...although why plan a party past april first if its not gonna happen?
