Well, it took 8 hours of being crammed in a claustrophobic school full of zombies, ghosts, and vampires, but I have finally achieved my goal --- I am now the proud owner of the Major Mana Potion recipe, and the ability to Transmute Water Essence to Essence of Air!!!
This means a) I will be living in Winterspring for the rest of my life, and b) I will be transmuting Air for Tc & Sharps a lot.
At the present however, I reaaaallly need Arcane Crystals and Thorium, I'm willing to trade (meaning farm them out and then make them as a special trip), say, 5 Major Mana Potions for an Arcane Crystal at this point

Special thanks to Knights of Dragon Fire Tavian (Warrior), Kaen (Pally), Kaen's lovely wife Brigity (Priest), and especially the dark and handsome warlock Magnuss for insisting that they stall for an hour so I could go
In exchange for Tavian & I becoming the alchemic L33t, we accompanied Kaen, Magnuss, and Brigity through the whole instance 5man. That was.... interesting. I have been told MANY times before that the last 3 bosses can NOT be 5 manned. Well, we did it.
VERY special thanks also to Darkmaster Gandling for over-using his teleport ability... Every time one of us were down to 20% life, he would port us out of battle, giving us ample time to heal up before attacking him again.
In loot news, as we are all buddies in this run, we went back to the old loot rules that made us friends in the first place... If you want it, it is yours. Unfortunately for myself, that means my total loot win was 2 Corrupter's Scourgestones. Oh yeah, and the recipes. Like I'm gonna complain.
Magnuss was truly blessed, coming away with almost a fully re-vamped wardrobe. If only he had leveled to 59....
Fortuneatly for Tavian, slaying Kirtonos dropped (as usual) the Boots of Valor, nearly completing his set. Slaying Gandling dropped the Dreadmist Cowl. Which Magnuss already had. Yippee. Slaying Ras Frostwhisper netted the Magister's Shoulders. Whoop. Brigity decided to temporarily use those, as she does not yet have the devout pieces.
Slaying Ras also got me one step closer to my lovely new Leggings of the Arcanna. Now it is just 3 more dead Rases and a dead beast, and 5 Arcanite Bars. Anyone for a few free stacks of Major Mana Potions??
