Fj stepping down....

Elihu

Tribe of Judah Staff Manager
Members of Redeemed,

It has been my honor to serve you over the past year and my greatest joy to see how much we have grown and matured together as a guild. God laid a passion on my heart for this guild, to see it come from where it was to where it is today, and I'll be there as it continues to astound me day after day. However, my relationship to the guild is to change from this point on as a member rather than a leader. There are many factors that involve the making of this decision, but I won't go into details about them as this is not the place for that. I would ask one favor from everyone though, that you keep me in your prayers as this week goes on. My heart is heavy, and my emotions are running high...I will be taking alot of time to think, pray, and seek God during this season of my life. I do want to thank you all for the support that has been given of me and ask that you continue to pass your support on to the next leader of the guild. Together we can grow ourselves into something even bigger and better than what we see now, for God blesses the righteous. Before I go I feel it important to mention a thank you to my staff\officers that have helped mold this guild into what it is today. Thank you to Avesther for your dedication to the guild and your neverending patience with guild instance runs, thank you Goblit for your enduring love for our members and the effort you put into everything you do, thank you Alhana for taking my visions of ministry and making it bigger and better than asked for, thank you Sandric for your utter devotion to seeing to the technical side of things (website) done, thank you Klangdon for your time and energy spent on recruiting and helping our new members get set up, thank you to my former council members Icthus, Miriallia, Melko, and Tebran who helped to give me guidance and wisdom for the hard decisions made, and thank you to all of the other staff members for hanging in there and doing a job well done (Draaco, Stjude, Rranyl, Sassie, Papatoad, and Samuraij <--back when he was guild banker). Remember, God is willing....are you?? He'll use the unimaginable to do the impossible....will you let him?? God bless all, see you in the game!!

Isaiah 43:19
See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland.

Thank you Fjorboug for the courage to take on the flag of Redeemed when I stepped down. Thank you for the strength to lead a dynamic group through another stage of our growth. Thank you for guidance and dedication it takes to strengthen the ministry side of the guild.

Welcome to being a member again. May you find new enjoyment in the game and new connections with the membership and a new direction for your on-line life. May your wife be at ease knowing that the heavy and wonderful of being guild leader has been lifted from you so that you may also enjoy your real life relationship with her again.

Always your brother in Christ,

G_P

Thanks again for taking up the challenge when God's Peon was stepping down, and thank you God's Peon for taking it up when I was resigning, as well.

You two (and many other members as well) were instrumental to bringing the guild where it is today. I'm looking forward to seeing the new guild leader, and I can only hope that he can push this guild even farther.

I'm looking forward to a more Christ-like Redeemed family, more guild instance runs for all levels, and just more fun together, overall. I can't wait to make many more new memories, and I can only hope that they're as good as many of the ones I have held dear to since the guild started over a year ago.

yay for FJ. :) Thanks for being the guild leader, pretty daunting task as you know. I think that this guild is like a car with a manual transmission. The car needed to continue to accelerate and Fj needed to be changed out for a new GL, as his time was done. Good job fj. :)

PROOF THAT I AM A PVP NUT:

To me, it sounds a lot like Warsong Gulch.

"The flag was picked up by Avesther!"
"The flag was dropped by Avesther!"
"The flag was picked up by Fjorboug!"
"The flag was dropped by Fjorboug!"
"The flag was picked up by..."

Uh, how exactly is this flag gonna get capped? :p

Elihu,

Thank you for all the time and energy you've invested in this guild. Your efforts have not gone unnoticed by man or God. The Lord will surely bless you for what you've sown into the guild.

I admit I'm sad to see you step down, but I understand and agree with the reasons behind your decision. The mantle of guild leader is a heavy one and not easily borne by someone with a full-time job and a wife.

Thank You so much for your dedication to the guild and being a friend to all of us.

<Papatoad Saltues Fjorboug>

For heavy is the head that wears the crown. You wore it well.

See ya in game, Take care guild master

It was a pleasure having you as GM!! I still stand by my word that warriors are the hardest class to lvl in the game! Best wishes for the future.
