I've played Fortress Forever the last two nights with Elihu and, I have to say, it's been a blast.
Elihu and I would like to round up some ToJ members for a game night tomorrow (Friday, Sept. 28).
To play Fortress Forever, you'll need to purchase Half-Life 2 and download the free Fortress Forever mod.
If you don't already own a copy of Half-Life 2, I recommend purchasing the Orange Box set, which includes Half-Life 2, HL2: Episode 1, HL2: Episode 2 (when it's released), Portal (when it's released), and TeamFortress 2.
To play StarCraft, you'll need to purchase a copy of StarCraft and the Brood War expansion. The StarCraft Battle Chest includes both the original game and the expansion and is available for $19.99 at most major retailers.
You may also want to install and configure TeamSpeak, a voice chat client compatible with most online games.
For more information on configuring your TeamSpeak client to connect to the Christian Gamers Alliance TeamSpeak Server (which hosts a set of channels for Tribe of Judah), please see this thread.
You may want to load Xfire or any popular instant messaging program (AIM, Yahoo, MSN, ICQ) before the game night begins.
If you install the Xfire client, be sure to check the Christian Gamers Alliance community Xfire ID list here.
Please have all games and applications installed, tested, and ready to go by 7 p.m. Central (8 p.m. Eastern).
