With CNC 4 just around the corner, EA is releasing the first CNC game (Tiberian Dawn) and it's sequel/expansion (Tiberian Sun/Firestorm). Solid RTS's, even if a bit dated by today's standards. Peace through power!

Anyone know how to DL the games? I've downloaded it from the site, but actually opening it is a different story. I have a trial version of WinZip if that makes a difference and its trying to make me use that.

I have not downloaded the game myself but looked and it's a .rar file. Try 7zip it's a great free program and should work with that file format.

I use WinRAR. Its also free but not as good.

QFT! ...by far the BEST zipper/unzipper...and it is free...works faster and better than both WinZip and WinRar...

Got it, in a convoluted way, but I was able to play Red Alert

I used to absolutely own at the original Red Alert. That was literally the only game I played for almost two years, and I played almost every day. Ohh, those were good times. It's still the only multiplayer game I have ever played where I could say I was actually good at online.

And now I haven't touched it in years. DL here I come...
