Frost issues arise

Another thread started in the admin forums recently, about frost again, and his attitude towards other players.  Now I know frost still doesn't have the best words to say when it comes to players' skill, but he's not the only one that is in this issue.  I won't say who posted the thread, that's really not the point, the point is, even though frost may still mouth off occasionally, there's always someone who wants to mouth off back.  I've already talked with frost about this, and he agreed to work on it.  Please ToJers, step up, and don't instigate/provoke frost in any manner.  i told him something similar, if he says something that might be slandering towards another player, just take a screenshot and send it to an admin, don't stoop to the same level and mouth off back to him.  If I know frost, I know that it's like putting more wood on the fire if you mouth back.  He's seriously trying to get better with his words and his attitude.  Also take into consideration that he's 15 (or close to it).  Lemme know what you think.
 
Goose I know a lot of 15 year olds who don't act like that so its hard to justify his behavior that way.

The main issue I see is there is no progress being made. He is repeatedly verbally offensive to people who come to our server, including ToJ members. If his goal is to be a grief player, he needs to do it somewhere else . If he wants to stop mocking people and dropping the comments ALL the time, then I have no issues with him.

That said, I'll do my part not to instigate.
 
No, I can't justify his behavior on his age alone, but you can't negate the fact that there are a lot more 15 year olds that act like that, than there are 35 year olds.
I /have/ seen some progress, I actually played in competition with him and I've seen dramatic difference, yet the fact remains that he still does do some pretty dumb things. Like I said before, I've already talked with him again regarding this issue, and I'll be on him about it as well.

I haven't seen an improvement in any shape or form. Everytime I'm on, he manages to get into arguments or slip in derogatory comments (primarily when he dies). As far as instigating him, instigation isn't that wide spread IMO. He usually says something and people just passively sit by and say nothing, so I don't think that's really too much of an issue. For example, he'll complain when he dies, and 95% of the time, no one says anything. NOT A THING.

The whole agreed to work on it, that's just lip service IMO. People agree to a lot of things and don't put in an effort and follow through. Considering he apologized on this forum several weeks back and yet continues the same behavior (he just cursed today for example) why should we take his claim that he'll work on it seriously?
 
i didn't feel like reading izips response cuz its to long but.....im only 13 and dont act like frost at all. but the other day while i was on server frost and the old ToJ | Sneaky_Anchovie who left for cal comp teams him and frost were going at it. calling each other nubs saying they could own eachother 1 on 1 etc. an admin came eventualy but befor he did i kept asking them to calm down and stop so they dont get in toruble but of course no one listens to a ghost so they kept going :P but after a few minutes of this someone got tired i dont no who but they did admin_vote_kick DDY|Frost and same with sneaky which solved the problem. just alittle story for ya lol. o ya this happend like wednesday too

Aren't watching closely? I play in the ToJ server all the time, and he manages to curse/degrade nearly everytime I'm on there. Ask SpaceGhost, Lithonis, Exodus (anyone who plays on a regular basis). Ask Zealot or Tek. Everyone has seen him break the rules on a continual basis.

By the way Ghost, you are very mature for your age, and I was there when that happened, and it was good that you asked them to stop (even though they didn't listen at all).

I play on the server pretty much and i have never seen Frost calling people n00bs when he dies...

Oh yea. Someone would have to kill me in order for me to read the posts of the dead people, and we know that won't happen.

Misc. I don't see you there that often?

The fact is he does it 99% of the time he's on. Apparently myself, Ghost, Exodus and others who see him do it need to start taking screenshots to be believed.
 
I play every weekday atleast from about 1 to 4 as well as a lot of other times (I play under a bunch of stupid names a lot

-- incognito!).  I never see frost act up, but I only play with him a very limited amout.  I think played with him maybe 4 times in the past 2 weeks (maybe less).  So of course, i'm not taking up for him.
 
Ok, this is Frost and I see a few posts about me, so i wanted to clear things up a bit. The fact is i have gotten better. The fact ISN'T, izip, that I do it 99 % of the time. Maybe you would notice if you weren't watching for every tiny mistake I make. Also see from my point of view on the "I have proof Frost hacks" and then everyone saying I knew it in my face kind of made me mad. By the way Exodus and I cleared that up nicely. It wasn't me the admin caught. It was just a mix up. I know getting called a hackor isn't the only time i say a diregatorry comment. If I have said things that might have offended you I dont mean them, so don't take them seriously.

roger that frost i try not to look for ur bad points but ur good points instead but when u do start getting mad at sneaky anchovie and u 2 start to go at it thats kinda wat we r tlking bout. but sneaky was worse than u i have to admit so we might need to ltk to him about it. as for ur demon hunter! i h8 to read (probably part of being a.d.d.) but i dont mind typing alot for all the newbys to read

hey Frost man i am rooting for you, and when i am on ToJ ( not often anymore lol DoD too much time) i will just let you know when you may be getting "to" out of hand for some people i know i call people n00bs and haxors only because i know them like exo-slayer ( good friend in RL) otherwise man just make fun of your self alot like i do and when you pwn the whole other team they will cry

Frost - I'm glad you are able to check these forums out. May they be an encouragement - and a reminder! - for good players, and how they are held responsible for their actions.

As to hopefully bring closure to this issue, just follow Goose's suggestion:
