Future PvP event discussion

From our most recent Guild Meeting, our original plan for PvP or GvG participation was to hold events on Friday nights. One session starting for earlier players on the east coast at 7pm eastern and a later session starting at 10pm for late players on east coast and early players on west coast.

During the event on Friday the 11th, we had no participation at the 7pm session and a total of 6 people participate between 11pm and midnight. I have had a couple requests to keep events on the weekend.

Also, I think we should initially attempt to cycle between the Team arena, Tombs and unrated GvG until we work up a little higher comfort level as well as teamwork/team builds. If there is a specific type of PvP you have a higher level of interest in, please let me know about that as well.

Fridays will pretty much will never be good for me unless it is late like Midnight when everyone leaves . Saturdays evenings Around 7:30 or later works best for me I still may miss a few due to work but not very many. Sunday evenings preyyt much anytime work for me as well. There are my 2 cents :0).

Hmmmm...am I missing something? Are there regular Guild Meetings going on that I don't know about or was that a leader-only thing?

No, sorry, since I joined, we have only ever had one guild meeting back quite a while ago (I checked - 9Sep05 - see minutes here). Friday night as PvP/GvG night was one of the topics of discussion. Future guild meetings will be held on an as-needed basis and there have not been any significant issues to discuss as an entire guild.

We pulled together a spur of the moment GvG group on Thrusday night. I realize that Thursday is already set as "Party Night", but is there another weeknight that would work well for everyone who cannot participate on Fridays? I suppose Thursday at 10 would still allow other "Party Night" activities before pulling the PvP/GvG team together.
