Game Review Needed

Has anyone heard of Magic: the Gathering its some card game my friends play but I wasnt sure if it was demonic or not anyone know anything of this game or can tell

id like to know if its okay or not.

in general those games are not good spiritually. It depends on your take with magic. I don't really like things glorifying magic, evil creatures or dumbing down our God personally.

yeah it does look kinda demonic but i wanted to get another christian's opinion on it or some who knows something about it

i have no idea what its about but i wont learn

do u know of any other christian card games

I haven't played the card game, but there is an upcoming strategy game called 'Victory at Hebron'. It's based on the Redemtion card game. It looks very cool! Check out a preview here.

I use to play Magic around 5 years ago Had quite a big collection and wasted plenty of money on the addiction.
Magic:The Gathering is prolly not that bad for you spiritualy but it definitley is not good for it.

I love Magic, dude. I'm a Christian so here's my opinion:
Everyone freaked over D&D because their kids got so sucked into it. Magic can be like that. You need control. You'll probably need God to keep you up because that game, I assure you, is such a blast you'll never wanna stop, and it sucks you in, like all RPGs do, and that can be unhealthy, physically, socially, mentally and spiritually.

I love magic. Wizards. Staffs. Enchanted swords. Mighty beasts from the Netherworld. Crystal collecting. Final Fantasy. All that awesome stuff. Harry Potter. The stuff's cool. But it can be a problem. God hated magic. Witches were not to be suffered as He commanded, because they deviated others from Him and led the simple astray (and He hates people taking advantage of others like that).

Play it if you think you can stand it. If it begins to be a problem, don't forget fam, friends, and the Lord.

I look at it this way. If God hates magic and witchcraft and so forth does he want you playing a game that would glorify it?

MAgic the Gathering? It's a waste of time and $$... (IMO) and some themes are almost satanic.. scary stuff...

The do have Bible verses on some of the cards, but I still wouldn't recommend the game. I never did get into the card game, but I did play the PC game version of it, and I was quite addicted. I eventually made myself stop because I felt it was a bit wrong. I'm just glad I didn't waste tons of money on the game by buying cards. Well, there's my two cents.

try yugioh, its an ok card game i think compared to magic. u still use magic type cards and traps and difrent types of monsters but its fairly clean.

yugioh's the same as pokemon

which by the way is demonic and was based on actual demons
