Goblit.. Come back allready. I dont know all the issues but I can tell you that whatever they are and with whomever they are with it only represents a fraction of the people who are in this guild or in some sort of position to make things difficult for you. There is a majority of people in this guild who very much respect you and believe that you are a mighty fine individual and a great asset to this guild. I believe that if there was a poll it would clearly show this. So its easy. Come back! Do what you have to do but just come back.
 
I don't want to ask her to come back -- if there's enough going at her to drive her away, it would be selfish to ask her to come back.

But I WOULD like her to know that the majority of us -- everybody I've ever talked to love her. She's one of the big reasons I've been enjoying WoW so much lately, and has been an incredible person to play with. I hope to raid with Goblit again no matter how that works out.
 
For those of you who don't know: Goblit posted a thread earlier today stating that she was leaving. Certain forum members, who shall remain nameless, posted disparaging comments. I locked the thread and moved it to a private forum, and have asked hescominsoon as CGA Forum Administrator to ban the users who insulted Goblit.

I've decided to leave this thread open for the time being, even though a negative post could quickly turn this into a heated argument. I don't anticipate a negative post, but will be at the ready with my handy "Close Thread" powers just in case.

As long as people are polite and respectful, and as long as people don't give the moderators sufficient reason to close this thread, it will stay open.
 
Leaving is too hard to do and I realize it doesn't solve anything. I just stay and dont let things bother me, trust me there no better place in World of Warcraft than the Redeemed guild. If the game really bothers you that much just get away from it.
 
I dont think it was anything in game that bothered her.

I hope we can all stick together, I was really starting to feel like one big happy family in redeemed:)

You know, its sad that it came to this. We are all supposed to be christians. CHristian directly or indirectly (doesnt really matter which) translates to Christ Like. Christ didnt call peter a jerkface for taking his eyes off him when peter got out of the boat and walked on water. to be honest, it really pains me to see how much backstabbing is going on here. my secular guild on my priest got along better than we do. I'm pleading with you, before you speak, please judge your comments using the Word of God. the bible speaks in james 3 that "blessings and evil should not come forth from the same mouth". I encourage you all to read James 3. it has helped me alot to hold my tongue when i feel myself getting upset. you have to remember that we are to love our neighbor as we love ourselves.

1st Corinthians 13 says that love is patient, love is kind. Love doest not boast. It is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self seeking. it is not easily angered. It keeps no record of Wrongs. Brothers and sisters in Christ, with this in mind please think about the consequences of what you say before you say them. It takes years to build someone up...and 10 seconds to distroy them. Jesus was the son of a carpender. we are in the building business :).

I really felt like God was insipiring what was written in this post. if you wish to discuss or argue with me about it, please do it in a PM. its not a matter for the whole forums to read. thank you for taking the time to read this. May God bless all of you.

Gobl337 is gone?????? OH NOES!!!!!!!!!!!!! GOB1337 COME BACK!!!!!! I don't know what was said/who said it...but I don't honestly know how you can hate Goblit, you can kid around with her. She gives to the guild more then recieves, has helped me personally on NUMEROUS things such as getting my leet warlock books to just giving me info on things I ask. She is a vetran in this game, and I hate to see her go, but who ever said those things I feel what I want to say to you is inappropriate...
 
Hmm... Somehow she got removed from ToJ too. I know she didn't ask to be removed, so maybe the leadership really did decide to get rid of her?

If she wanted to come back, she'd be allowed to right?

Goblit was not removed from the ToJ roster. She did not respond to a recent membersweep, so her account was set to Inactive. She is no longer a member of ToJ, but she left of her own free will. She was not kicked out.
 
And I think that Goblit would be allowed to return since she was not removed from the guild. Isn't that right?
 
Goblit if/when you read this, just know that we are all praying for you that God would give you guidance in whatever your decision may be.

Being removed for inactivity doesn't preclude reapplying. Perhaps you're not interested in rejoining ToJ, which would be fine, but you weren't banned or anything.

Of course if you chose to reapply and were rejected, we members of Redeemed would expect a very strong explanation. I, for one, would expect a transparent application policy from such an open Christian guild.
 
If Goblit doesnt want to come back she doesnt have to.

Its a game and she still plays it.

You can still speak to her in game - it's Goblit's choice if she wants to return, not ours.
 
I miss my Gob1337 as well. BUT...if she's happier outside of the guild/ToJ then that's alright with me. Then again we really don't have a say on what Goblit decides to do. Anyways...as long as I can continue to stalk Goblit and /poke and /tickle her over and over again...I will be happy too.

Oh wait...did I just say that out loud? >.>
