Should we use GroupCalendar?

not to point out teh obvious here but pallys do own so many other classes. were like a druid ,viable in 3 different ways.

as to the mod , i have it saved to one of my files somewhere but i never use it because

1. it takes up alot of memory

2. unless it is being used guildwide , theres isnt a need for it.

3. the mod has been known to infect computers with a virus in teh past.
 
I am sorry, but I do not understand how 5BMs is a lot of memory unless you have like 64MBs of RAM and running Vista, which is impossible...

Unless you are running Vista, which I hope for your sake you are not, your windows is only using 30-40MBs of RAM...WoW uses about 25-30 depending on your config...and even with a ton of addons, and I mean a ton, they will only use another 20MBs...so, at max estimate you are using 90MBs of RAM...In order to play WoW BC, it requires that you have 512MB of RAM on your system...so seriously, what is the problem here!?!?!?

Scenario 2: You are running Vista...well...I guess everyone has their own opinions...Vista uses about 500-700MBs of RAM, Also about 256MBs of your GPU, so if you have Vista, have a GB of RAM, and 256 GPU, you are in some major trouble...Actually, did you know that if you are running Vista with only 256MB GPU, only like 10MBs of your GPU goes towards WoW, because that is all WoW needs to run...LOL...anyways...

You people saying it is a memory problem, if you are on XP, I don't wanna hear it...It is a dead excuse...and, don't take this as me being a jerk, I just wanna know if you have actually taken the time to look at the facts...

Maybe it's just me, but i don't plan out 5 man instances. Other than raid instances, i play when it fits into my life. When i get on, i whisper a tank and say "Wanna do a heroic?" If they say yes, i say "Who wants to hang out with Where and I in Heroic Slave Pens?" (Where and i have spent a lot of time in here... we're amazing at it.) And usually we fill the group pretty quick.
 
you usually have to have Nevi on to get people to hang out with you...it takes away from all your space squiddedneshness
 
oh...and uh...WoW uses pretty close to 550-600MB on my machine. granted, i really don't care about mod memory since there's oooh...another 1.5-3.5 depending on what machine i'm on, but yeah...50mb..not so much :)

then again...my settings are to teh max on 1900x1200
 
The only time I planned out 5 mans was when I knew I'd be doing a heroic with a good group, and I'd save myself from being saved to it.
