Halo 2 Multiplayer Expansion Pack

Just bought the Halo 2 Multi Expansion EB Games along with a Cat-5 cable to link systems. Haven't played it yet though. Was it worth it? I guess by the time someone responds to this, I will allready know :) .
 
yea... i love playing lan games.. so much fun.. and the new maps are simply amazing.. but i must say.. playing 16 man on lock out is still fun :D
 
I play a lot of Halo 2, not really because I like the game, but because all my friends like it. It's fun sometimes, but if you compare it to UT2004, Halo 2 gets kicked around the planet.

Anyway, I have the map pack and we do Xbox link parties pretty often. We had a 2v2 tournament one time and that was a lot of fun.
 
Mmmmm...consoles. Is there a mouse and keyboard for the Xbox? Until then, Halo 2 might as well be Play Dress Up with Barbie. The one time I tried it, I was horrified by trying to use a gamepad to aim.
 
I've looked for that too, since I'm so bad with the controller. I only found one device, and the reviews said that it only works with some mice and some keyboards, and that with Halo 2's semi-magnetic autoaim it makes things very wonky sometimes. I just wish Halo had a way of turning the autoaim off. As people who have heard me whine about CS argue, I don't like games that mess with my aim.

But, I can't help enjoying it because so many of my friends play it and it's a nice way to be social without having to small talk.
