Halo2 or HL2?

lol. anyway, i have none. but my friends have halo2. i am wondering, can you have 4 player coop with 2 tv's a link cable and two xbox's with the game?

I've played Halo coop with 2 players, 4 players deathmatch. Has to be the same with Halo 2. I'm talking about off-line, not X-box live.

HL2. Xbox...don't make me laugh. And I've gotten very disgusted with Bungie lately, so no Halo fanboyism for me.

Having played both for a number of hours now i can say that HL2 is the better game by a large margin.

Halo2 is great with the no loading times and the slick new AI but that is about the only step up from the first game. Other than that its pretty much the same deal. They just havent tried to do enough. Dont get me wrong its a good game, but it doesnt reach the hype by a long shot.

Half-life 2 is superb, the only thing that brings it down is the loading times, which is of course where halo2 is superior. So the choice is between those who are impatient and want a fluid game like halo2. But if you can get over the loading, HL2 is a monster of a game and each time i progress further in it i am amazed at what they have done.

(im currently dropping cars on parasited humans in the nasty district)

hl2 is mind blowing...i don't have it yet but i've seen friends/brother play...the graphics and the physics engine are jaw dropping.

I own halo2, and it didn't live up to the expectations I had...but I still love it, love the multiplayer.

Remember that halo2 pushes xbox's graphics limit and they have done an amazing job at that...but as rizz said, if you have played halo its basically the same thing.

anybody have hl2's opening day sales figures?? i'm just wondering becaues halo2 beat out every previous record including hollywood movies...it had i think about $250 Million.

I think that model engine in HALO 2 is greatly improved. In halo, you get shot in the head by a sniper, then you fall down forward kneeling...

In halo 2 you actually make them fly backwards landing on their back. just like cs!

The Halo engine!

Yeah....there isn't much that has been improved in Halo 2. One thing I did notice....the ghosts aren't as bouncy as in the first game.

HL2 is absolutely incredible...anybody else enjoying the pace of the game? it seems when there is an actual rest area i explore every corner just for the break! That airboat is just wicked sick too!
