Actually, Thanksgiving was instated before the european invaders ever took any land from the native americans. In fact, the first thanksgiving was attended by native americans and the holiday was partly instated to thank the native americans for helping our forefathers out.

That being said I'd LOVE to be a real "Candian" as long as it means that I get free candy.
