Hey guys. I disappeared from in game pretty fast and I just wanted to let those of you who I got to know in game that I'm alive and well... I started playing WoW as a total noob just after Christmas and a couple of you guys showed me the ropes and were so kind! Thanks sooo much. I had a blast. Something about the game just clashed with me and I found myself literally becoming addicted. I started waking up at 5am or earlier with no alarm clock every morning and wanting to play before my wife woke up. And then I would come home from work and want to play again. It was getting way out of hand and I was having a hard time shutting off the WoW centre of my brain, one morning I just felt God pressing on me to just get rid of it. And I fought Him about it a bunch but in the end I remembered who He is and decided it's better to just trust him. It was working for me. I took a little break from games in general and now I'm looking at maybe playing Guild Wars or Warhammer, hoping that maybe I can play a little more casually and not obsess about it.

So anyway, I deleted my characters but I have 2 accounts with WOTLK on them (yah 2... dang) and I think they both have a little play time back. but if any one wants them they are yours. just lemme know k?

Thanks guys. I did have a lot of fun even though I only played for a few short months. = )

Follow up, haha. Only a couple people know, but I have a pretty severe case of tourette's syndrome. I started playing wow cuz I was so sick from some of the meds I was on I couldn't work and was stuck at home all the time.

I have spent a lot of time praying about and talking with my wife and have decided, now that I'm working again and feeling better in general that I'm gonna give wow another go. I was able to get my hunter back and I'm thinking of making a gnome rogue just for fun! Either way, I'm looking forward to seeing some of you guys in game. Wow is actually a really good outlet for some of the frustration I feel from dealing with my condition haha, I'm hoping now that I am more healthy I can approach gaming with a healthier mindset also = )

:) Glad to see you back! Now I can show you more ropes :P Still praying for ya. Glad you found a new doctor and that's it's working well so far :D
 
My daughter (unchained in redeemed) has a friend that wants to play but she can't afford the start up codes to get going. Her mom said she will pay the monthly fee for her but she has to get the game herself.

This would be great if she could use one of them.
