Help me find the best Radio service?

I needz some help... I am looking to use a radio service (such as Pandora or last.fm)... I have been using Pandora quite a bit the last few days, and have really enjoyed it, but it is seriously lacking in features and stations, but it's simplicity is also very attractive... last.fm has a lot more features, and most of them are very useful, the multi-tag stations are amazing, but it's free service does not allow for mobile listening (where I listen to the most)...

So...I am open to opinions, but here is a short pros and cons list...

-Pandora-
Pros: Free mobile, simple, very smart when choosing music
Cons: Limited skipping, limited stations, inconsistent UI, annoying ads
Other: My Roku box that can play this

-last.fm-
Pros: Great features, nice UI, unlimited skipping, unobtrusive ads
Cons: $3/month for mobile, not the smartest stations
Other: My Xbox can play this

Open to all thoughts and opinions...
 
I use Pandora, and like it pretty well. But there are some limitations that bug me. The ai is not too bad, but it can get confused if you have a wide range of taste in a specific genre. It occasoinally throws contemporary Christian music in with my country gospel. Some good songs, but they don't belong there. Also there is a tendency to throw in popular songs, performed by people who are not the original artist. That can be irritating when you are trying to build a list of classic songs. Overall it does train well, but you really need to work hard at it for unusual genres. And forget trying to get Southern Gospel Quartet as a genre. I use it mostly on my Roku, the ads can be too distracting on the computer.
 
I too use pandora at work and at home and on my iphone and really like it. I paid like 20$ for a year (or something like that) and you get no ads. Plus i like that I can have a station that pretty much plays all the stuff i like. Because your able to like and dislike songs it refines the search for other songs....

Like i like country music and alternative rock, and now it plays both on my station....Just from like and dislike.

It used to be as low as $20, but its since then jumped to $36 for a full year. Its called Pandora One.

I don't know how $36 for a full year isn't worth it. It comes out to be just $3 a month, which is MUCH less than SiriusXM. One of my friends has unlimited everything (which is kind of important for Pandora) on his Sprint Evo 3D and is dropping SiriusXM in favor of Pandora One. If you pay for Pandora One, its features (in my mind) make it superior to Sirius. You can skip more times (hourly limit instead of a daily limit; you can't skip at all with Sirius/XM), make your own stations tailored to your tastes, and of course its ad-free.

Of course this is my experience with SiriusXM in cars at the dealership and Pandora on my iPod. I haven't tried last.fm.

Ah....yah, or 3 dollars a month for 12 months = 36$ for mobil services....

As often as i use the app on my phone and computers, i get my moneys worth out of it.

I'm not sure if they have deals during holidays where it might be cheaper...=\ not sure
